Step 8 - Intersection of Four Corners

When sewing the rows together the fabric gets very bulky at the intersection of four corners.
The photo above shows the best way to lay the seams to reduce this bulk.
On one row lay the seam to the left, and on the opposing row lay the seam to the right.
Place two pins to keep the seams going in their proper direction.
When sewing, make sure that the seam next to the machine bed is coming toward you and that the upper seam is pointing away from you.
This will allow you to control the upper seam which will be going against the direction of your presser foot.
The underneath seam will be moving with the presser foot and will be less likely to bunch up underneath.
