I enjoy finding out what other people are doing creatively and this has become a breeze with the internet. In fact, I've had to make it a priority to limit my time exploring craft blogs, reminding myself that the more time spent looking means less time making!
One of my all time favorite sites is The Purl Bee. The owner of Purl and Purl Patchwork in Soho, New York has a website which sells their yarn, fabric, patterns, books, and notions, but also links to a crafting journal that covers just about everything. You'll find tutorials for all kinds of crafts; quilts, knitted sweaters, crocheted blankets, specially made cards, hand made toys, and much more. When I'm weary and just want to see some beautiful handmade items I log on to The Purl Bee. It's been a companion along the way and here again, unbeknownst to them, their efforts to provide an inspiring blog with clear instructions and beautiful photos has helped me more than they'll ever know. I'm so glad they've made the effort!
